Amusement park in Drouwen where food and drink are included in the admission price, for children from about 3 years old. It has a holiday park next door.
Drouwenerzand is in Drouwen, on the Hondsrug ridge. You pay for admission once and can then use all the rides and play equipment all day. Food and drink are included too, such as fresh fruit, filled rolls, chips, snacks, coffee, tea, squash and ice lollies. So there is no need to bring your own food.
The park is for children from about 3 years old, with gentle rides for the youngest and more daring ones for older children. Schools come here on school trips, up to the last year of primary school. The park has its own packages for groups and children's parties.
Next to the amusement park is Vakantiepark Drouwenerzand, a holiday park with tree houses, castle and saloon lodges, glamping tents, holiday homes, hotel rooms and camping pitches. Guests staying there have access to the amusement park.
Food, allergies and accessibility
There are gluten-free snacks, which are prepared separately, and vegetarian dishes at the buffet. For other allergies there is a list of allergens; you can also discuss your needs with the kitchen.
The park has baby changing rooms, accessible toilets, a first aid room, high chairs and a microwave for baby food. Wheelchair users can go on some of the rides, depending on their mobility. If you have an autipas (a Dutch card for people with autism), show it to get a Drouwenerzand Autipas, which lets you enter the rides through the exit.
There is a bus stop 50 metres from the park, and a car park with disabled parking spaces. Admission prices and opening times are on drouwenerzand.nl.
