A rebuilt historic farmhouse near Kampsheide, with space for cultural activities and meetings.
Boerderij Kamps stands on the edge of Kampsheide, between Rolde and Assen. Het Drentse Landschap has managed the farmhouse since 2001. After a devastating fire it was rebuilt in its historic form; the present building has no listed monument status.
The farmhouse is used as a home and provides space for cultural activities and meetings. Its surroundings include woodland, heath and old farmland. Visits to the building or an activity depend on the organiser; the residential yard is not an open museum.
