Every photo on Rolde.nl states who took it or where it comes from. What you may do with a photo depends on its creator.

Photos credited © Rolde.nl were taken for this website and are owned by Moi! Webservices (Chamber of Commerce no. 69401349). You may use them on your own website or in a publication, provided you credit the source with a link to www.rolde.nl.

Photos by others

If a photo is credited to someone else, the copyright belongs to that person and the above does not apply. Some of these photos come from Wikimedia Commons, under a free licence. With a licence such as CC BY-SA you may also use the photo yourself, stating the creator’s name and the licence. We use photos that an organisation publishes with its own news only with its permission; if you want to reuse such a photo, ask that organisation.

Sending in a photo

Do you have a photo of Rolde or of something happening in the village? Send it to redactie@rolde.nl, with the name it should be credited to. Only send photos you took yourself, and first ask anyone who can be recognised in them whether they agree. By sending a photo, you give Rolde.nl permission to use it on the website, with your name alongside.

Are you in a photo?

Can you be recognised in a photo on Rolde.nl and would you like it removed, or has one of your photos been used without your name? Let us know at redactie@rolde.nl and we will put it right as soon as possible.
